Why the Table?
We started Masa47 because we wanted something different: a place where food, design, hospitality and talent don’t live in silos but meet, collide and grow. We’re not just opening restaurants or building homes — we’re creating a place where the creative spark of a chef, the precision of design, and the care of hospitality join into projects that matter. In short: we build ideas that turn into lived experiences.

The name says it plainly. Masa means table — the simplest machine for gathering, sharing and creating. The table is where notions are sketched, menus are tasted, plans are negotiated and feasts are shared. So we made the table our organizing idea: everything at Masa47 begins there and always comes back to it.

The table is where ideas meet, plans are sketched, and life takes shape.

Founders of Masa47

At the table, sparks become

life.
For us, the table is more than a place to eat — it is where life happens.

Masa47 brings people together through food, homes, and ideas that spark connection…

INTEGRITY

honest ingredients, transparent partnerships, responsible business.

CREATIVITY

design-first thinking, sensory storytelling, bold culinary craft.

COLLABORATION

Four Corners

the Atelier

Ideas & Design
At the table, imagination meets intention — The Atelier turns sparks into living visions that define what’s next in gastronomy and design.

the Gallery

Restaurants & Experiences
Where creativity gathers and flavors find form — The Gallery transforms vision into moments to taste, share, and remember.

the Habitat

Homes & Retreats
Where design and nature meet in harmony — The Habitat turns space into feeling, crafting sanctuaries that embody the soul of the table.

the Lab

Talent & Futures
Where ambition finds mentorship and dreams find direction — The Lab transforms raw sparks of talent into the futures of food and hospitality.

the Ecosystem

Together these corners form a working loop: the Atelier imagines, the Lab grows talent, the Gallery shares it with guests, and the Habitat gives it a home. We return to the table at every step — to question, refine, celebrate and plan what comes next.

August 2012

A neighborhood café turned local landmark in Alsancak, Faktori Food carved its reputation through honest cooking, warm hospitality, and creative weekly menus. It lit the first spark of the sensory identity of Masa47’s atelier, found its first tangible expression. It was where sparks of flavor meet daily life.

September 2017

Bresca Brasserie introduced a brasserie-style fusion of Turkish, Spanish & international flavors in Narlıdere, offering guests a taste-forward experience in design-rich surroundings. It stands as a Gallery piece — transformed the Atelier’s vision into shared moments of culinary artistry.

April 2020

Founded to design experiences through the five senses. Feel Culinary transforms restaurants and brands by mapping how people see, smell, taste, touch, and hear their surroundings — creating spaces that don’t just serve food, but emotion.

October 2021

Born from Feel Culinary’s creative fire, Eşlikçi redefined the ocakbaşı experience in İzmir’s Narlıdere district. Designed entirely from scratch for an investor, it brought together brick warmth, cherry wood smoke, and modern Turkish cuisine in a fine-casual rhythm of food, fire, and jazz.
Meaning “one who accompanies” in Turkish, Eşlikçi celebrates the art of pairing — food that complements drink, and ambiance that elevates both.
Honored with a total of two Gault & Millau Toques in 2024 and 2025, it remains one of Masa47’s defining sparks — where design, flavor, and spirit meet at the table.

January 2024

Born as a creative lab for thought. Fact Bakery collects stories, research, and reflections from across gastronomy and design, turning insights into articles, concepts, and cultural dialogue that feed Masa47’s creative ecosystem.

The work is honest, the craft is exacting, and the outcome is always human: food, homes, and ideas that spark connection and last beyond the moment.
